Opening city by city.
Can I use matched.now where I live?
Yes. Online matching is open everywhere from day one — Business and Personal. You can find people, agree introductions and meet by video wherever you are.
Why isn’t face-to-face matching open in my city yet?
Meeting in person only works when there are enough people nearby. Rather than show you an empty room, we open face-to-face matching city by city, once enough members there are active.
When does a city open?
When enough members who call that city home have been active in the last 30 days. Business and Personal count separately, so each side opens when it’s genuinely ready. The count is real — never estimated or padded.
Can I help open my city sooner?
Yes. Invite people you’d actually like to meet. Every active member brings the city closer.
What can I do before my city opens?
Everything online: post what you’re looking for, get matched, agree introductions, chat and join online Moments.
Can a city close again?
No. Once a city opens, it stays open.
I’m travelling. Can I meet people there?
Yes, if that city is open. Add your visit under Places and you’ll see face-to-face matches for those dates.
Is anyone ever introduced without agreeing?
Never. Online or in person, both people say yes before any conversation starts.
